Choose the option that best suits your accommodation and plans.

Before Shabbat, check the times for Shabbat entry and exit according to the city you are in. The prayer schedule presented here refers to the Chabad House in Hersonissos. On holidays and special Shabbatot, there may be changes, so please check the announcement for that specific Shabbat or contact us.

How do you register for Shabbat meals?
Advance registration on the Shabbat registration page: select a Shabbat from the available dates, one or more meals, and the number of participants, and complete the form. After registration, save the confirmation. The meals take place at the Chabad House in Hersonissos.
Can you order food for Shabbat to the hotel?
You can order a Shabbat evening kit for delivery, depending on delivery areas and timing. You can check on the booking page whether the hotel is included in the service and order in advance. Taxi fees are paid separately according to the delivery terms listed on the form. Near the Chabad House, you can also sign up for meals or visit the food market on Friday.
Do Shabbat times apply to all of Crete?
You select the city where you are located in the timezone. The prayer times displayed alongside them are those of Chabad of Hersonissos, even when another city is selected.
When does the Shabbat food market take place?
The food market takes place on Friday at the Chabad House in Hersonissos, starting from 1:00 PM until supplies last. You arrive and choose food to take for Shabbat; there is no advance ordering or delivery from the food market. For hotel delivery service, you must order a Shabbat kit on the deliveries page.
