Hotels in Crete.

Before choosing hotels in Crete, it is worth deciding what is important to you during your daily vacation routine: walking to a Chabad house, spacious rooms, proximity to the sea, or staying in another area of the island. The list allows you to compare options without losing the small details. Start by choosing an area, go through the hotel cards, and save the options that suit you to your favorites. This way, you can return to them when checking dates and compare the specific room, booking conditions, and cancellation policy before making a decision.

Chabad House Crete is located in Hersonissos. If it is important for you to walk to meals or prayers, start by filtering for "near Chabad House" and check the hotel's location on the map. Walking times and distances are shown on the cards when available, and are presented as estimates. It is recommended to open the route and check that it suits you in terms of the path, children, or strollers. A hotel in another area of Crete may suit your vacation, but is not automatically considered a hotel within walking distance of Chabad House. You can switch between areas and save several options for comparison.

For those looking for hotels in Heraklion, we have compiled options with high guest ratings on Booking.com. The list includes downtown hotels, boutique hotels, and hotels with amenities such as a pool or fitness center, depending on the details in each card. It is important to check the hotel address rather than relying solely on the city name: the exact location affects your daily planning. To plan your arrival at the Chabad House in Hersonissos, use the driving directions button. Unverified time is not displayed as a number, so it is advisable to check the route closer to departure.

You can also choose hotels in Chania or Rethymno using the area filter. The lists include boutique hotels, suites, and other accommodation options, with photos and a direct link to the hotel page on Booking. For those planning to combine several areas during their vacation, it is worth comparing the number of nights in each location and the transportation between stops. Check if the room is suitable for the composition of travelers and what is included in the price displayed for your dates. If Saturday is part of the stay, plan meals and arrival in advance, because choosing a hotel in these areas does not guarantee walking distance to Chabad.

In the lists for Agios Nikolaos and Elounda, you will find both boutique hotels and resorts, alongside suites and options with sea views. The photos on the cards help convey the character of the place, but the room type and conditions are determined at the time of booking. A private pool, for example, may belong only to certain room types. Also note hotels that are adults-only and age restrictions that appear in the name or accommodation details. Before booking a family trip, make sure that the hotel and the chosen room accept children of the relevant ages and that the bed arrangement suits everyone.

The guest rating is displayed out of ten, separately from the hotel's star rating. Alongside the new hotels, the number of reviews, the review date, and a link to the rating source are displayed. This data was checked on the specified date and is not a real-time update. It is advisable to open the hotel page and also read recent reviews from guests with needs similar to yours. A high score is a good starting point for comparison, but it does not replace checking the room, location, and amenities. You can sort by rating, select desired amenities, and compare several hotels in the same area before booking.

Checking hotels in Crete on Booking.com

Check the exact room type, maximum occupancy, bed configuration, check-in and check-out times, and cancellation policy. If you are arriving by car, check with the hotel about parking options and whether they incur a fee. A facility listed on the card may operate seasonally or be available at an additional cost. The absence of a mark does not determine that the facility does not exist. The Booking.com button leads to the booking page, where you select dates and view actual prices and availability. You can save hotels to your favorites and return to the list, but saving them on the site is not a room reservation and does not guarantee availability.

Even when choosing hotels in Crete based on ratings or facilities, it is advisable to plan ahead for Shabbat. Check with the hotel regarding matters such as mechanical keys, automatic doors, and elevators to suit your needs. Shabbat accommodation details are not reflected in a Booking rating. On the Chabad website, you can sign up for Shabbat meals, read about the Friday food market, and check the option of ordering a Shabbat eve kit delivered to available areas. These are separate options, so it is recommended to visit the relevant service page to verify availability and terms. It is advised to complete the arrangements before arrival to enjoy your vacation with peace of mind.
